Van Dangerously Passes at End of Merge

A driver in a red van passed a length of cars at the end of a merge on the 101 highway. Luckily the driver of the car ahead of me sees the van approaching from behind and slows down to avoid an accident. Who knows what the outcome would have been if driver of the car kept going at their initial speed. Hats off to the driver of the car, great defensive driving.
